Leeds’ thriving wine scene is about to welcome an exciting new addition as NoNo Wine Bar prepares to open its doors on March 20, 2025. Nestled in Arch U, Dark Arches, Granary Wharf, NoNo offers a laid-back, judgment-free space for wine lovers and newcomers alike, championing quality, terroir-driven wines in an accessible and welcoming environment.

NoNo is the latest venture from Barrique Fine Wines, a respected West Yorkshire-based wine merchant known for its commitment to “Bringing Wine to Life.” Taking over the former La Casita site, the bar will feature a 60-seat venue with a small retail space, allowing guests to sample wines by the glass and purchase their favourites to enjoy at home.

But NoNo isn’t just about great wine—it’s also redefining food pairings with an unexpected yet exciting collaboration. The bar has teamed up with BaoBros23, the award-winning street food sensation, to bring a fresh and innovative dining experience to Leeds.

A Bold New Take on Wine and Food Pairings

In a break from traditional wine bar fare, NoNo will offer a small plates menu all week and an exclusive six-course tasting menu on Fridays and Saturdays, curated by BaoBros23. This exciting collaboration challenges expectations, showcasing Asian fusion flavours that beautifully complement NoNo’s carefully curated wine list.

“We wanted to show new ways to discover wine and food pairings—something delicious but unexpected. BaoBros23 brings bold flavours and creative dishes that can help elevate the NoNo experience,” said a Edd, from NoNo Wines. Edd continues “The wine is at the forefront with small plates available through the week, the tasting menu at weekends will bring a new experience all together, that part will launch in April.”
