From the 1st of June, each Friday and Saturday night during June and July, you can now enjoy hand-crafted cocktails at Opposite in the heart of Chapel Allerton. Blank Canvas Drinks, which are handmade in Leeds, is teaming up with Opposite to offer a monthly menu of fourteen hand-mixed cocktails this summer, including crowd-favourite Espresso Martinis, made with Opposite’s own expertly pulled espresso.

From 6pm until midnight, Opposite will be transformed into a table-service cocktail bar, featuring a range of classic and original cocktails, plus bar snacks from local artisans Skog Bakehouse, George and Joseph and others. Blank Canvas Drinks is known for creating bar-quality handmade bottled cocktails; and Opposite, as well as carrying out their usual popular coffee trade, will also sell the bottled Blank Canvas Drinks from an in-store shop during the day; so you can pick up a cocktail (or two) to take to the park and enjoy in the sun.

Running for a total of 17 nights until 27th July, the menu will change from June into July, with new cocktails each month. From Margaritas and Mai Tais to custom creations, like a Camino Tropico or Ruby Swizzle, there will be something for everyone – including non-alcoholic cocktails such as a remixed Shirley Temple with cranberry and non-alcoholic beer.

Also on the menu will be a special treat from luxury classic cocktail brand, Charlie’s Classic Cocktails, the sister bottled cocktail brand to Blank Canvas Drinks, featuring traditional drinks made with top-shelf spirits. This will include the ever popular Old Fashioned and Negroni, each finished with an orange garnish spritz.

“As a proud regular stall holder at the Chapel Allerton Market and part of the local community, we’re excited to be working with Lou and the team at Opposite to bring our specialty drinks to an in-person crowd for the very first time. Our collaboration really showcases the exciting things happening in North Leeds and we can’t wait to meet everyone that comes down.”  – Charlie Bolton, Founder & Director Blank Canvas Drinks
