Leeds' new best pasta place
The joint venture between Dave Olejnik of Laynes Espresso and The Brunswick boys will focus on the best, homemade Italian pastas, offering up regional specialities from across this pasta-perfecting country.
The menu is serving up some ace pasta options. Think:
Red wine rigatoni, lamb shoulder, sheep rustler, mint
Gnocchi, jerusalem artichoke, nutmeg, thyme
Fettucine, wild mushrooms, marsala cream
But there are also some mouth-watering non-pasta options on the small plates section too, with ‘pumpkin, sage & cornish cheddar arancini with aioli’ particularly getting us going.
With the Brunswick guys sorting stuff behind the bar and this kind of pasta dough delight getting shaped into every sort of pasta dish you can dream about, you basically know you need to get yourself a trip to Sarto. Soon.
