Thackray Museum of Medicine, one of the UK’s leading medical museums, is delighted to announce a new partnership with Rabbit Hole Coffee, a renowned Leeds-based coffee shop.

From May 2023, Rabbit Hole Coffee will become the museum’s exclusive cafe partner, providing a brand new sandwich menu. Visitors to the museum can now enjoy delicious, freshly made sandwiches and snacks, as well as the recently refreshed range of high-quality coffees (North Star Coffee Roasters) and other beverages.

The partnership between Thackray Museum of Medicine and Rabbit Hole Coffee represents a significant step forward for both organisations. For Thackray Museum of Medicine, the new cafe partnership allows the museum to offer an even better experience to its visitors, with a wider range of food options available.

For Rabbit Hole Coffee, the partnership provides an exciting opportunity to expand its catering operations and showcase its high-quality food to a wider audience.

“We are thrilled to welcome Rabbit Hole Coffee as our new cafe partner,” said Rachael Palmer, Director of Engagement, Thackray Museum of Medicine. “Their commitment to quality and innovation aligns perfectly with our mission to provide our visitors with an outstanding experience. We are confident that the new menu will be a hit with our visitors and clients.”

“We are excited to be partnering with Thackray Museum of Medicine,” added Steve Thomas, Owner of Rabbit Hole Coffee. “The museum is a fantastic institution, and we are delighted to be able to provide our high-quality food to its visitors. We are confident that our partnership will be a success, and we look forward to working with the museum to deliver an exceptional experience to all.”

Rabbit Hole Coffee was born in 2016 as a travelling coffee shop and Espresso Martini bar. Two friends, Robbie & Ste, bought a trailer for £78, made it into a vessel capable of serving tremendous coffee and started getting asked to do corporate events in London, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield. Since lockdown, they have been serving coffee as a pop up shop in Leeds, so now you can found them all around the city in different locations. In Oakwood the Rabbit Hole Coffee can be found inside Pizza Loco on Roundhay Road. They also have a site at Harvey Nichols in the Victoria Quarter, Leeds city centre. Recently they opened their first very own shop on Stainburn Parade in Moortown! And now – meet them at the Thackray Museum of Medicine.

The new sandwich menu is available now, and Thackray Museum of Medicine looks forward to welcoming visitors to enjoy Rabbit Hole Coffee’s delicious food and drink
