C81: a Lifestyle Brand to give back
We love our identity (lovingly curated by Rabbit Hole back in 2018). It was always meant to signify something different to each person by spinning the logo around and Rabbit Hole has a great knack for creating such intelligent design.
During the first part of the year, we were being asked if we had any C81 coffee cups or water bottles (as we combated our January Sustainability challenge). Unfortunately, the answer was no. Step forward many months and we have been trying out some new clobber and we think our logo suits many uses.
We are proud to be launching our C81 Lifestyle brand and the very first piece of clothing is the C81 beanies, made by our pal Johnny I’Anson and his new business Supadope. We plan on working with small/ new producers and sharing a split of profits to really good causes too. The first of our merch we plan on working with the brand Ground Up Project. A new initiative providing free and subsidised MHFA England accredited mental health first aider qualifications to business owners and staff in Leeds’ hospitality and creative sectors. Leeds Indie Food will also be a supporter of this vital provision for the city and will announce more information in the next few weeks.
Through lockdown we have seen mental health highlighted so much from small business owners, people living alone and the twists and turns of the year. We think this is such a brilliant cause and are pleased to try and help fund the first batch of first aiders.
To buy a C81 Beanie you can email us here as we work on launching our shop over the next few months. The beanies come in fetching colours :C81 Green, Charcoal, and pink. These are very limited.
