The summer is about to ramp up as Chow Down announces their latest resident kitchens, House of Sun, new brunches and more.

Slice Boro and Asado Kitchen arrive at Chow Down on 21st July as they take over the containers and become the new resident kitchens that will bring Leeds a brand new Detroit style pizza joint and Steak restaurant. Asado means roasted or cooked over fire so expect Flank and Tomahawk steaks to satisfy your tastebuds with excellent veggie options including King Oyster Mushroom and whole roasted cauliflower. Roberto Gelato, rising star from Kirkgate Market makes authentic Italian gelato in a variety of flavours and their fruit sorbets are vegan friendly. Roberto’s is also now a permanent fixture at Chow Down so you can enjoy their frozen delights all summer long.

The rotating food traders for the rest of the summer that change weekly will include Homeboy Pizza, The Middle Feast, Luigi Street Food, Colombo Street Food, Hoi Polloi Street Kitchen, Suburban Eats, Little Red Food Truck and more.

House of Sun, is the brand new Sunday summer hangout at Chow Down.  Entry is still free, but the vibe is different. Expect live bands, giant board games, the Palm Swings crazy golf, slushies, street food + more. Bands for July include Hijack Horns, The Silk Tones and Backstage Brass. 

Bingo Lingo is coming to Chow Down. On Friday 29th July the wildest bingo night in the land join us for a summer special. Think party anthems, stage battles, dances offs with mental prizes. This is bingo like you’ve never seen it before. Bingo Lingo have taken their madcap show from Birmingham to Ibiza and we can’t wait to bring them to our place in July. There is a special bank holiday second date on 26th August. 

The Drag Brunches are going from strength to strength. Latest themes include a Beyonce party on the 24th July, a Pride special on 7th August, a Disco Party on 20th August before the season finale, a Lady Gaga special. 

Disco Classical will arrive at Chow Down for the first time, bringing your favourite musical hits played by an orchestra for a show-stopping event on 5th August. 

A bottomless Brunch has also been announced, £34.95 per person will get you a two hour slot, some food from a resident kitchen and unlimited drinks including Prosecco, Spritz cocktails, Bellini, Bloody Mary or Asahi lager. The dates include 31st July and Sunday 28th August. 

Comedy nights are coming to Temple Arches on Wednesdays in August too. The idea is simple; amazing food and drink mixed with the biggest belly laughs from some of the finest local and nationwide-circuit comedy. 

If that wasn’t enough, the music programme includes Mezla, a takeover from Alto Radio, Ninety Nine, Soul Boutique and live music from Alex Robinson Project plus more to be announced.
