After hosting numerous pop-ups and kitchen takeovers, Bundobust launched in bricks and mortar in 2014. They took a then-derelict, down-at-heel street in Leeds and turned it into a haven for indie food, drink and shopping.
The Bundobust concept? Mix the vibrant and varied vegetarian street foods of India (predominantly Gujarat) with exciting craft beers from both local and international breweries.
Fast-forward five years and Bundobust maintains the original Leeds venues, as well as one in Manchester and one soon to open in Liverpool. They also have their own brewery, and other openings in the pipeline. Their indie calibre remains, with rave reviews from foodies like Jay Rayner and regular recommendations in the Michelin Guide, as well as many, many press accolades and awards.
